THE OUTDOORS
- You can safely cross the lava river by going through a secret passage and
crossing on the stepping stones. There is also a way by crossing the southern
tributaries, but you need Safe Passage skill to keep from being buned.
- There is a destroyed vahnatai village at the southern end of the river.
Searching it will yield several spell scrolls.
- At the northern end of the lava river are 3 Efreeti. Kill them to gain a
Blessed Greatsword.
- Along the path to Fort Haledon you will encounter a band of hostile
vahnatai who have been sent to kill you by Limoncelli.
FORT HALEDON
- You cannot get past the gate unless you have the orders from the Olgai
council. No one really likes you here.
- Go through the building to the east, and you'll get attacked by some
blades and a shaper. Go through the door and deliver the orders (thus ending
that quest- no reward). Now the vahnatai don't hate you so much.
- You can get a few minor things here now, and can sleep. Also Strossen-Ihrno
tells you that Rentar-Ihrno knows the spell Quickfire.
- When you leave you'll be prompted with a question about directing the forces
against the ziggurat. Go ahead, if you're ready.
BARRIER TUNNEL
- Not too much here, though south of where you enter there's a few
supplies, with a secret crystal charm in a box to the SE.
- Continue on and you'll pass the barrier, which was also in Avernum 1.
