THE OUTDOORS

• There are some questionable food caches on the east side. Some of the food is poisoned. Take them at your own risk.
• You need to get a hexagonal bar from the Watery Ruins in order to pass the Ruined River Fort.

WATERY RUINS

• Killing hydra is a good source of food.
• There are some hexagonal bars in the northwestern corner. Get at least one in order to pass the Ruined River Fort. They are worth a fair amount as barter as well.

RUINED RIVER FORT

• On the western side there are lots of undead critters including a couple of vahnavoi. Many undead will regenerate as you spend time here.
• You need to have one of the hexagonal bars from the watery ruins to turn the wheel that opens the gate.
• Once you have opened the northern gate, return to your boat and sail to the door leading to the eastern side.
• Fight your way through the Vahnatai to either open the southern gate or just steal their boat.
• Make sure to read the hidden tome that increases your Mage skill.
• You can get a fine waveblade and a pair of Drakeskin Boots in the hidden passages to the south.
