THE OUTDOORS

• There are encounters with merchants nearby. They sell mostly junk, but will buy any of your items.
• The Remote Clearing does not show up on the map. There are regenerating patches of potion ingredients here. You can only go there after talking to Rose in Formello.
• The pillar west of Solbergs Tower gives you the portal code (Kav Ait Bon) for Erika's Tower.

FORMELLO

• When you approach the Mayor's office, you will trigger a special encounter with the Vahnatai. This sets the stage for Chapter 2.
• Talk with Captain Graham for the Destroy Evil Altar. First you need to get the Ritual of Sanctify spell in the hidden room in the northwest corner of town. Then you will need to go Blasted Ruins to the west of Formello. Find the evil altar and cast Ritual of Sanctify on it (10xp just for doing this). Return to Captain Graham for your reward.
• Stoppard will pay a good price for healing herbs. This quest never expires, but after you have enough barter skill, it makes it unnecessary. He also sells potions and some tools including lock picks and first aid kits.
• Townsend sells identification and alchemical recipes for Hasting and Energy potions.
• Caius sells the first two levels of the first 7 priest spells. He also sells the Pathfinder skill for 360cp a pop. Get 5 levels for each of your players. He is also a healer.
• Miles sells the first two levels of the first 8 mage spells.
• Becca is an NPC who can join your team. To add her to your team, you may need to drop off one of your team members in the room provided. See Characters for a description of her abilities.
• Talk with Rose to accomplish the Marriage Proposal quest you got from Harg in Fort Draco. Return to him to complete the quest. Rose will also tell you where to get a supply of healing herbs in the nearby outdoors area to sell to Stoppard.
• Gibbon sells food, beer and will rent you a room to rest in. If you kill the spirit in one of the rooms west, you will get to rest free of charge.
• After you have been to the Vahnatai Lands and have gotten the decyphering crystal, You can read the book hidden behind the Mayors room. You need to Move Mountains to get to it. Reading this book will enable you to get the Far Sight L3 spell from a chest in the first building you pass on your way to the Vahnatai Lands.
• Read the obelisk in the southeast corner for the transporter code to Formello (Ent Bel Tor).

REMOTE CLEARING

• The Remote Clearing does not show up on the map. There are regenerating patches of healing and spiritual herbs here. You can only get here after talking to Rose in Formello.

SOLBERG'S TOWER

Shops Solberg: Mage Spells, Magery Skill

• To the west is a secret passage that leads to a group of fire lizards, and a dead body with a poor chain mail.
• Go towards the tower, and when you get the paranoia message, cast beast ceremony then go into fight mode. Go south, then you'll get in a fight with a bunch of hordlings, imps and demons.
• You need to have Crown Clearance to see the door on the east side.
• In the SE of this tower is Ice Lances L3.
• Speak with Cheeseball for comedy, and to Solberg to figure out Garzahd's weakness. Solberg will also sell you cheap low level spells, and also the magery skill. There's two options: buy points from him for your mage and priest, or wait for the drake. If you have 3 or fewer magic users, Solberg is the cheaper option, compared to the drake.
• The portal takes you to Solbergs viewing crystal which is looking at the NE corner of Formello. Nothing is happening.
