Eastern Shore
On the eastern side accessible from The Abyss there's not much to do here yet.
Mindless Muckwalkers drop some herbs on death, so collect those.

Western Shore
Notable items: Quicksilver Bulwark
When you arrive from the north, there is much more to do here, including a way home! Head to the east and you'll find a bunch of brigands. Kill them and take their stuff. You'll get an excellent quicksilver bulwark for your troubles. Hit the pylon as well.
