THE OUTDOORS

Shops Foundry: Steel armor and weapons, buys stuff Shaynee's Shop: Magical items, buys stuff

• Fort Saffron is in the hands of the Empire. Whenever you approach it, you will be challenged to fight the enemy forces there. The first round consists of bladesmen and archers only. The second round adds elite soldiers and a wizard. The third round consists of elite soldiers, archers, high priests and a dervish. When you kill this batch you get another Archers ring. This will get you past the first gate, but do not try to assuault the next wall. You cannot win!
• The foundry is the place to get really good armor, if you haven't picked some up yet. Use your battles in the north to get iron chain mail for trading.
• Shaynee's Shop has some nice items to purchase and will also buy all your stuff.
• You need the Orb of Thralni to reach the null bugs, but killing them gets you a blessed pike.

DHARMON

• In the hotel is a woman who's looking for medicine for her son. This medicine is found on one of islands west of Silvar. Once given, you receive 20xp, 1 rep and an armor ring, not to shabby for a non-quest.
• You need either a boat or Magi Clearance to see Mayor Genevieve. She will give you the Kothtar plans quest, which is worth 4 rep, 30xp and 1000cp. The plans are on the second level of Kothtar in the Empire Lands to the southeast. You need either a boat or Magi Clearance to see her.
• Sarah, the priestess, will sell you Divine Warrior, as well as all the other upper level spells, provided you have enough rep.
• Rippel sells good armor and gives you a quest to get ore. She will pay
• Largo will sell you good potions (buy the graymold one) and will sell you some recipes.
• Gunther sells tools and crystals. He will also give you a quest to Steal Dharmon Tools. The tools are hidden in a secret treasue chamber. Although you get a Strength Bracelet and 10xp, you also lose 4 reputation, making this quest a bad idea
• There's a bunch of storerooms with emeralds and rubies, which are quite worth plundering. Be sure to close the door behind you. You'll also find a bunch of arrows of light. There's a secret door in the northern room, which leads to a basilisk and two golems. Kill them and take the blessed bow and shortsword.
• If you enter through the north you can get a boat.
• One landing in the west is full of shamblers but has some nice ingredients.
• The other landing is Starcap's home. Pull the lever to open a secret door and release the golems. Kill the golems and talk with him, he'll hint on the onyx scepter's location. You can read his book for Unshackle Mind 3.
