THE OUTDOORS

• The patch of Spiritual Herbs is regenerating.
• The battle with the ogres and Rakshasa is very tough. Rakshasa are top ranking magic users and are immune to most magical attacks.
• You need the Orb of Thralni to get to the Efreet challenge on the island. You will challenged by an Efreet, golems, flame hydra and black shades. Once you defeat them, the efreet will reward you with an extra point in Parry skill.

• You may have those vahnatai items on you I told you to keep. Now's the time to ditch them. Patrick's in the SE, talk to him and give him the items. For this you get: 5xp & 100c for the cloak, 5xp & deciphering lens for the razordisk, 5xp & 100c for a Fine Crystal, and finally 10xp & 2 rep & slow level 3 from his book.
• Down in the SW is Julz, who tells you to get him some Borgia toadstools. These can be found in Egli. When you bring some back you get 5xp, the ability to read his book for Bind Foe L3, and another quest for some Graymold Salve. Give him some for 4 rep, 15xp and your mages can learn Haste L3 from his other book.
• To the NE is a library with some useful knowledge.
  • You can get rid of barrels by shoving them into a river.
  • A Phoenix Egg will make quickfire. You can get one from Rentar-Ihrno.
  • There is a new magical script that can only be read by one who has a Deciphering Lens.
  • Piercing cystals can be used to dispel magical barriers.
  • Graymold Salve can sometimes cure people of diseases for whom no other remedy seems to work.
  • It is believed that the Onyx Scepter is now in the possession of the dragaon Sulfras.
  • The Orb of Thralni, which allows flight for long distances, has been stolen by the Empire. It is believed to have been taken west of Fort Remote.
  • Pants can be made to have magical properties. Some are cursed, and some provide strong protection.
  • Magical barriers are capable of holding in quickfire.
  Also make sure to talk with Rita and Kelli to get more information.
• To the NW is a lab. Talk with Patrick to get the hint how to open it. Check the desk in his private quarters to open the passage to the lab. Check the bookshelves for the recipe for Graymold Salve. Enter the secret area north of the demon, and bring down the barrier somehow (maybe later). You'll have to contend with some quickfire, but will get a knowledge charm, heroic brew, restoration brew, and a knowledge brew.
• Once you have King Micahs permission to use Demonslayer and you have the instructions from Rone, you can use the hidden buttons to gain access to the Crypt of Demonslayer. This will extend a bridge to the statue which will disappear when you touch it. Now you have access to the secret door behind the statue.

TOMB OF DEMONSLAYER

• First, go west and get summon aid 3. There is a switch in the NW corner of the room which unlocks a secret door to the east. There is a chest with three very good potions; Invulerability Elixir, Resistance Elixir, and Knowledge Brew.
• Then select either a powerful warrior who's loaded with potions and can use swords with a lot skill or a priest with some restoration brews/ unshackling crystals to go through the portal. Go around, and prepare for battle. Grab the blade, and a bunch of demons are summoned. Blast or slash them as best you can, then try to leave. A pair of mung demons and a Haakai await you. Since the mung demons tend to dumbfound and drain your spell points, have haste potions and use Demonslayer against them. It also works well against the Haakai.
• Demonslayer is your best bet against Garzahd, after arrows of light and bolts of life. Go there with having neither of those nor having repel spirit 3 WILL get you killed, if you're not a cheater.
• From Lynsis: Demonslayer also does extra damage versus guardians, which is none too shabby!
