THE OUTDOORS

Quests Destroy Empire Caches - 50cp each (250cp total), 40xp, Icy Longsword

• This region is infested with enemy Sliths and Cave Giants.
• Talk with the Scimitar folks to get the Destroy Empire Caches quest. These are located in the caves to the north.
• In order to read the the stone tablets in the Lonely Hut is to drink from the Pool of Enlightenment in East Avernum, then head straight here. If you have enough Priest Skill you will learn Divine Restoration L2 and Return Life L2.
• The Empire outpost west of Fort Dranlon has some Empire Records as a quest item for The Castle.
• A couple of the Empire caches to be destroyed for the Scimitar are located in this area.
• Help out the sliths west of Fort Dranlon for 1 rep.

FORT DRANLON

Quests Get Cheap Wine - George pays 20cp per jug Recover Giant Statues - 4 rep, 20xp, Blessed Helmet Slay Elderan - 500cp, 25xp, 4 rep Shops Caitlin: Healing George: Food, Sugar, First aid, identification, buys stuff Postlethwaite: Mage Spells (Extremely Cheap)

• George, the quartermaster in the SE, will give 20c for each jug of wine you give him. He also sells one of the three bags of sugar to be found in the game (cost >200c, so not a good idea).
• Talk with Mairwen the wizard to get the Kill Elderan quest.
• Talk with O'Rourke to get the giant statues quest.
• Nance can be found in one of the inns. Talk with her then return to Silvar talk with Elspeth for 1 rep, 15xp and a diamond dagger.
• The mage Postlethwaite will hint that there is some nice treasure near Cotra. Indeed there is, nimble boots in the trash pile to the west of Cotra.
• Wendy, a mage, will join your party if you let her. She's a great mage.
